Climb-SpecTM webbing utilizes our specially developed needle-loom construction with a double-lock chain stitch to minimize unraveling if abraded or cut. The tighter, smoother weave of this webbing is stronger and more resistant to abrasion than conventional military-spec webbing. Webbing Specifications

BlueWater Quantum runners utilize a specially developed 18mm nylon webbing.
This is a narrow,
double
thickness, high-strength, flat webbing that is not weakened by "bunching
up" in the elbow of a karabiner.
BlueWater TitanTM runners are made from a blend of light-weight, high-strength Spectra® and nylon fibers. BlueWater originally developed TitanTM webbing as a light-weight, compact alternative to larger sized nylon webbing. TitanTM runners are sewn with Spectra® thread for superior strength. Spectra® webbing will not hold a knot and is available only in sewn slings. Never convert a TitanTM runner into a knotted sling as the knot may slip under very low loads.
Our Diminishing Sling (left) is a uniquely designed one-inch tubular webbing that becomes narrower and thicker where the karabiners clip in so as not to lose any strength at this point of the quick draw. One end is bar-tacked to hold a bent gate karabiner captive while the other end is loose to accommodate any straight gate karabiner.
The Speed Draw (left) design has one end bar-tacked to hold a bent gate karabiner captive for ease of clipping while the other end is open to accommodate any straight gate karabiner. The Dog Bone (right) design quick draws are bar-tacked in the middle making loops on each end to hold karabiners. These loops are loose enough to allow flipping the karabiner over when necessary.
