Having problems understanding the differences between kilonewtons, kilograms, and pounds? Use these simple formulas to make the conversion.

Pounds/Force x 4.448 = Newtons (N)

Pounds/Force x 0.4536 = Kilograms (kg)

Newtons x 0.2248 = Pounds/Force (lb.)

Newtons Æ 1000 = Kilonewtons (kN)

Kilograms Æ 0.4536 = Pounds/Force (lb.)
