Lexan® resin is super lightweight and virtually unbreakable. It is tougher than steel, gram for gram, and one third the weight of metal. It is exceptionally durable. For maximum longevity GSI Outdoors recommends hand washing all Lexan® resin products in warm water with a mild dish washing detergent. Because of the intense heat, we do not suggest using an automatic dishwasher or harsh detergents for cleaning.
